The third AP Top 10 team fans will see compete in the East is New Mexico. Ranked 8th in the country and taking the 3rd seed in the East, the inclusion of The Lobos makes the East heavily stacked with three of the best teams in the nation.

The remaining teams are not to be counted out just yet either, as Wisconsin, Temple, Marquette, Clemson, Texas, Wake Forest, Missouri, Washington, Cornell, Wofford, Montana, Morgan State and East Tennessee State complete the East Regional teams. At 12th and 16th in the country, respectively, Temple and Wisconsin give the East five top twenty teams, any one of which can emerge victorious. Not to mention, as is the case every season, NCAA hoops fans can anticipate a few upsets among these early round games.
